Center for Technological Risk Studies. CERTEC

The Center for Technological Risk Studies (CERTEC) is a research group whose objectives are research and education in the various fields of risk and safety. We develop educational, research and technology transfer programs, for the public and private sector, both at local and international level. CERTEC was created in 1992 by the Polytechnic University of Catalonia.

CERTEC was created in 1992 by the Technical University of Catalonia. It has its premises at UPC Campus Diagonal Besòs (Barcelona), a research and education hub for knowledge, innovation and technology transfer. It belongs to the Department of Chemical Engineering of UPC and to CER-H2 (Specific Center for Hydrogen Research) research network.
